QuiKeTo is a jazz trio consisting of piano, acoustic bass and drums. We are never predictable, mixing Jazz standards with interpretations of contemporary rock and pop tunes, show tunes, originals and a variety of grooves from Swing to Latin to Blues.

Our drummer Quinny Lawrence is a lifelong professional who toured the world for many years and played with the greats such as Ronnie Scott and Peter King, before "retiring" to the South West. We are very lucky to have him and he is well worth coming to see. 

Keith Feinson provides a solid grounding as our bass player and has been a feature of the local scene for many years, as well as running a Swiss jazz quintet.

As the pianist I come up with a lot of the new songs and arrangements that we play, although by no means all - it is an equal partnership! I sing the occasional Frank Sinatra or Jobim song just to keep the audience on their toes.

NB: As you will see from the gigs page, I work in many other combinations, as I am getting to know an ever expanding group of excellent musicians in the South West. We can provide duos up to quintets with saxophone, trombone, vocals, guitar or any other combination. I also work with other drummers (notably Billy Cunningham) and bassists (Chris Anderson, Fred Ball). I am very happy to discuss different line-ups on the phone or by email.
